Trainees recruited through the Teaching School Hubs follow the same outstanding training programme as other GITEP trainees, learning from experienced teachers and expert serving practitioners.
All trainees will have placements in at least two schools and these will offer contrasting experiences, which could include comprehensive, selective, mixed and single sex, urban and rural schools.
Balcarras Teaching School Hub
Trainees will have their Parent Placement at one of the schools in the Balcarras Teaching School Hub area which comprises Cheltenham, the Cotswolds and Stroud.
Odyssey Teaching School Hub
Trainees will have their Parent Placement at one of the schools in the Odyssey Teaching School Hub area which comprises Gloucester and the Forest of Dean.
